I’ve Hit A New Low

I feel like my life of late has been a little chaotic. Monday night was spent in tears, yesterday was spent getting an airconditioner, sleeping off the no-sleep Monday night, and getting the kind women at the hair salon to fix the zebra striping I had inflicted on my hair, and tonight was spent having coffee and catching up with Esther.

Want to know the one thing I really should have been doing each of those three days? Laundry.

But when depending on a laundromat to clean your clothes, certain time frames must be abided by. Time frames that do not seem to fit my schedule of late. So what did I do tonight after coffee? I went out and bought a couple pairs of underwear, a new pair of capri pants, and a t-shirt. Luckily there’s an H&M near my office, so all told I spent only $20 on all of those things, but still. I just bought clothing because I haven’t done laundry in so long. That’s just sad.

It’s all about priorities – and there are more important things in life than laundry.

Like coffee and girl talk…and sleep…and watching the Sox.

You know, the really important things 🙂

That’s not sad at all. I buy new clothes instead of doing laundry all the time.

But have you ever bought dishes instead of just washing the dirty ones?

I feel a little responsible for the H&M purchase, but we’ve all done it. Though I’ve never bought an entire outfit.

The first time Mikey commented on my blog, it was on a post about not wanting to do my laundry. He suggested that I just buy new clothes instead.

I mean, shopping is definitely more fun than doing laundry. I don’t see a problem with my logic. Hahahahah.

Weird, though. Up until last night, I had never heard of H&M. Including this post, I’ve heard/read it mentioned twice since then. Funny how that works out.

So… what exactly is an H&M again?

You haven’t hit rock bottom yet, Finy. That would be turning things inside out before doing laundry. It’s what you do when you’re poor and lazy. That’s a step below just going out shopping. At least new clothes smell good…
